On running the installer, you might receive a pop-up message saying that it “can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer” or “can't be opened because the file is corrupt”.
To address this problem, please follow the following instructions.

To continue the installation process, you must authorize the installation.

There are two ways to allow installation. The first option is to allow it temporarily (recommended), and the second option is to change the setting of the whole system and restore it to default after the installation.

Login to the Software Distribution and Management System from the lower part of this page

Method 1: Allowing the program temporarily (recommended)
  1. Click "New Finder Window" on the upper-left part of the screen, and open "Finder".
  2. Click "Download".

  3. While holding down the "Control" button, click the downloaded file.
  4. Click "Open".
  5. When a warning message appears, click "Open" after confirming the file's authenticity.
  6. Once you click "OK", the system will take you to the installer and then you can start the installation.
Method 2: Changing the setting of the whole system (and restoring it to default after the installation)
  1. Start by clicking the Apple logo at the upper-left and click "System Preferences".
  2. Click "Security and Privacy".
  3. Click on a key icon at the lower-down side of the window.
  4. Enter your Mac OS account name and password then click "Unlock".
  5. Now, "Allow apps downloaded from:" section is modifiable.
  6. Select "Anywhere".
  7. Select "Allow From Anywhere".
  8. Click "Open".
  9. The installer will be launched.
If you are using this method, please make sure to restore the setting to default after the installation.

If you don't change your setting back, your computer could face security threats.
